Weddings at Bashall Barn Clitheroe
Bashall Barn is an exclusive and unique wedding venue near Clitheroe, with beautiful views across the Ribble Valley. The rolling hills, rustic charm and stunning location make it the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography on your special day.
This exclusive-use wedding venue can accommodate between 50-130 seated guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Whilst up to 200 guests can be comfortably accommodated for the evening reception.
With Bashall Barn being an exclusive-use venue, the rolling hills, rustic charm of the venue and stunning views will be yours for the entire day and evening.
The marriage ceremony can take place in one of three locations. The Bashall Brook room with panoramic views of the beautiful Ribble Valley. If the weather is suitable, there are bi-folding doors which can be fully opened onto the terrace, for an open-air ceremony feel.
There is also the new woodland area, which is a very romantic ceremony area, and will create quite unique opportunities for you and your photographer.
The wedding breakfast is served in the dining room, where your individual style and wedding theme can shine through.
As evening falls, the rest of the building is opened up for you to welcome your evening guests to the main bar and dancefloor area. The firepits are lit, lights are dimmed, and the barn is transformed ready for your evening entertainment. Dance under the stars, feel the love in the air and enjoy the most of a magical day.
There is a new guest accommodation, known as the “Bedroom Barn”, featuring three family rooms on the first floor, and three double rooms on the ground floor, all with en-suite shower rooms.
Each room has been designed to work with the layout of the old Bashall farm shop, ensuring it’s kept as many rustic features as possible. Each room comes with a hair dryer, tv, tea & coffee facilities and towels, and a delicious Bashall cooked breakfast in the morning.
From luxurious bathrooms to a dedicated “getting ready” area with three large mirrors for hair and make-up and plenty of natural light for capturing those pre-wedding moments in photographs. Sleeping up to 4, you can relax the night before with your bridal party, put your feet up and prepare for the celebrations ahead.
You are able to enter the ceremony room directly from the wedding suite, making for a really relaxed and stress-free start to your day. Being on-site also means you can check in on our preparations if you want to, reassuring you that everything looks absolutely perfect.
And at the end of your wedding night, when it’s finally time to take off those shoes, it’s only a short walk to your bridal suite. The wedding suites provide the perfect romantic retreat at the end of your perfect day.
